Wine making is steeped in tradition and Angas Plains Wines makes you part of that historical tradition. In times gone by wine was made by squashing the grapes by treading or  stomping on them to release the juice. Grape stomping is probably the only part of winemaking that is as enjoyable as quaffing the end result. And is a traditional method of
breaking up the grape skins. Now you can have a go at our grape stomping, so give your tootsies a thorough scrub before making haste to Angas Plains Wines to get up to your ankles in grape juice. With the focus kept firmly on having the best kind of messy fun. So, at Angas Plains Wines just jump in feet first and give the grapes a good old gleeful stomping. The Angas Plains Wines annual grape stomping event kicks off 12.30pm 15th April  2023, There will be live music with Wisky Jak Band and a scrumptious three-course Mediterranean inspired gourmet lunch.  After lunch is served then it’s time to start tossing all shoes aside and climb up the ladder to begin the grape stomping. Kids will have a blast too, so take the whole family along for an hilarious day out.

At the Grape Stomping festival, we will be squashing grapes, laughing
and singing buoyed up on Angas Plains Sparkling which will be flowing
and frothing like the crest of a wave!

Note: All juice will be emptied out as it will be surplus to requirements!
